CUT TO LENGTH LINES

Cut to length lines are mainly used in the steel- and sheet-metal-processing industry.
One differentiates between sheets, which are cut on slitting lines in strips or in the total width on cut to length lines. Also combinations of the two lines are possible.

A classical configuration of cut to length lines would be:

- decoiler with loop pit or with haul-off plus a coil car
- leveller or straightener with feeder and loop pit with loop bridge
- roll feeder with controlled positioning
- cut to length shear
- stacker unit
